French Mum, humanitarian, restless explorer and doer on sabbatical in Cebu (Philippines): one Attila in each arm, I am exploring the “toddlers safe” corners of the region, while trying to keep some room for Me.

What else, beside Happiness, Love and perfect Health, would you like to be granted with?

I always wished I could time travel, see how people were dressed, listen to what mattered to them back then, smell the flagrances of a street still free of pollution.  Every time I visit Paris, I am wondering how it would feel if by the snap of a finger, I would find myself transported back in in time..

Wish granted! Here we are in my beloved city, Maelle and I exploring the Place de Dublin in 1877!

(given the way people are looking at our outfits, I would not be surprised if Caillebotte eventually cropped us).

Wish number 2: Explore the world with the family and make sure the Attila get the best education.

And of course, wish number 3:

Maelle’s list said:

Becoming a Prima Ballerina and meeting Prince Charming (who by the way will also be intelligent, sweet, fun and generous!) in the most romantic place.

In addition and no particular order: playing with Mickey, finally testing Winnie the Pooh’s honey and visiting Santa so she can pick up her presents by herself!2014-07-06 Mickey

“thanks Santa to really stick by my list this year. I love you! Maelle”

Leandre’s wishes:

Mr Attila was not the most excited with the visit. There was nothing to break or to jump on, but he chose to be as strong as Dad!

In addition, would be cool to ride an unicorn (yep, racing cars are so Y2K!).

Riding an unicorn

Just need a bit of practice and it should work out just fine…

Eventually, Marcel aka The proud father of the Attilas could only picture himself in leading by example: showing the kids how to tame King Kong, fighting against a giant snake and even riding a wild zebra! Boys will be boys.

(I actually had a 4th wish: the Attila to keep quiet for 3mn so I could finally take this lovely cheesy picture of them. But here is the series I took just before Leandre’s retaliatory headbutt. One can’t have everything!)

Cebu Trick is an Optical illusion art museum showcasing over 50 painted Works that shows in 2 and 3 dimensions.

Make sure you have enough battery on your phone or you will definitely regret the heavy 200 pesos entry fees (children will pay from 3 y.o.).

Oups, That’s because I was so impressed with a letter you wrote to your daughter, I did not gather all the info. I bet the boys can only be awesome too, anyway! 🙂 Blessings to you all!
