Let’s all be as beautiful as Lauren Bacall : my five- point Manifesto

Bacall

I am declaring a new definition of Beauty, anxiety free. Botox and nip tuck are now illegal. Beauty is exclusively made of fun, honesty and confidence. May the spirit of Laurent Bacall be with us:

  • I won’t change so people will like me. I’ll be myself and the right people will love me! according to Hollywood standards, Bacall’s eyebrows were too thick; her teeth needed to be straighten. She didn’t bend to their diktats and sealed her place among the Hollywood immortals.
  • I will treat myself from times to times. Bacall used to smoke and it damaged her skin. I will leave some room for Chocolate, and make her words mine: ”I think your whole life shows in your face and you should be proud of that
  • I will always be true to my values and opinions. I will wear my husky voice and sultry looks to say “ I’m not the most adored person on the face of the earth. You have to know this. There are a lot of people who don’t like me at all, I’m very sure of that. But I wasn’t put on earth to be liked. I have my own reasons for being and my own sense of what is important and what isn’t, and I’m not going to change that.
  • I will take it easy. Bacall was right “You can’t start worrying about what’s going to happen. You get spastic enough worrying about what’s happening now.”
  • I will always look ahead, and just like Bacall, know for sure that “ I am not a has been. I am a will be”.

Thanks Megan 🙂 We all look so much better when we are simply happy, contend and confident, aren’t we? ok, it could help to look a little like Bacall, but I always found that the happiest people are the most attractive in every single way!Beauty is coming from inside
