Connecting people

2014-03-29 09.45.13

Children are the most natural “connectors”: they are genuine, don’t show off, and are not (too) shy. Wherever we travel in Asia with the kids, they are the ones standing out: they are white, blond, have “big eyes”. They immediately become the center of attention, the focus of the cameras. They soften people’s attitude towards us, and are our cutest gates openers 🙂

They are the best ice breakers, anywhere. But especially in Asia where they are like rock stars. So sweet to see how they connect with any one, and know how to use their lethal weapon (hugs) to make friends, from all ages 🙂 I wish we adult could still be treated as kids, people always smiling at you, having a nice word or a candy…
