Estelea's Blog

French Mum, humanitarian, restless explorer and doer on sabbatical in Cebu (Philippines): one Attila in each arm, I am exploring the “toddlers safe” corners of the region, while trying to keep some room for Me.

No good resolution for me this year. Only the disclosure of BIG secrets…

Resolution are useless. I tried them, but they put me under a ridiculous and frustrating pressure. So I decided to start the year in a very special way…

I turned to the people who have traveled with me for the past year, physically, spiritually, emotionally or simply via Skype. I had only one question, and they all answered it. It is all here, ready to be shared with you.

For those who have followed me a little bit, you should easily recognize the Attila, the hubbie and my Mum. Big thanks also to my very patient yoga teacher, Carlo,  my hyperloved brothers Jules and llan and my beautiful sister Abi. Tara, my precious friend from Bangkok, Ms Attila’s lovely friend Spud (who proudly represents her adorable family), our super nanny Dulce and last but not least, Chris FOS, my virtual but nonetheless great South African friend!

Their secrets

You’ll probably have to zoom to be able to read all the secrets. That’s how secrets are, they don’t shout. You have to come closer, be attentive, then you’ll find out…

How about you fellow beautiful bloggers, what is your secret to happiness? what puts a smile on your face?

(I should have been a bit humble on this one and decided not to appear on the picture. But I could not resist the temptation to be surrounded by those great people!)

People inspire you or they drain you. Pick them wisely 😉

Bah, sometimes maybe. Perfection sounds boring anyway, don’t you think? 😉

So true 🙂 Being a bit predictable actually makes me even “cooler” – as my daughter would say!

I was wondering when this was going to go up! And freakily enough, it went up moments after I thought about what you were going to do with the pictures! Typo btw, Spud, not SpuR :p. Had I known this was what you were going to come up with, I’d have given you my face! ;D

Love, love, love this post. To hell with resolution. xxx

😉 Family and Good Food are so essential for the soul, I totally agree with you! When you have them all at the same table, how beautiful it is 🙂

Glad you liked the quote, it’s so true! You are definitely an inspirer, I can’t get your recipe of the Melanzane parmigiana out of my mind. This will be my mission of next week! Have a lovely week ❤
