Parenting: setting up the standards

bmfurnitdaguerre

It’s not that my standards are too high. It’s just that my Dad set an amazing example for how a man should treat me.

Roger that?

Thanks so much! It’s my precious daughter actually. I have been trying hard photoshopping my (little;) wrinkles, couldn’t reach this stage yet 😉
Sometimes I look at her and it freaks me out how fast she’s growing. Marcel’s hair is already turning grey at the mere thought that some day, she’ll go out for a date! The boyfriend’d better be up to the standards 😉 Have a lovely week end my dear! XXX

Ohhhhh! This is an amazing post! Your daughter is so adorable and your husband is so loving and caring … A true quote you wrote about setting up the standards from what we saw from our parents as we choose a mate!
Ps: awesome editing skills and photos !

Thank you so much 🙂 They are pretty cool I must admit, especially when there is no sound! 😉 You are so right, our parents are our first and most marking example. And we know that at the end of the day, we only see what they did, not what they said..
Have a lovely Sunday (not sure if it starts or ends over there…Beautiful time anyway !) X

    Priceless images. 🙂

      February 12, 2015

THanks a lot Amy 🙂 it is true that a Dad is a son’s first hero and a daughter’s first Prince! All those things you discover you re the one turning parent. They are always so proud to show their Dad what they have learnt over the week, and any word of encouragement is so highly appreciated ( I tend to become a radical soccer Mum, so they don’t really miss the encouragements from me ;).

It amazes me to realize how we are constantly nurturing those little minds. I heard somewhere that kids become what you tell them they are. I really believe it is true.
