Look Up, Breath, Relax and Let Go!

Do you recognise this walking man ?

IMG_0079

The “autopilot mode” walk, the stiff neck and the pain in the shoulders from all those hours on his laptop and anxiously checking his messages on his phone?.. If you could zoom in, you would probably see a deep frown line between his eyes. Sounds familiar?

Look at the paintings of Gainsbourg and Dylan. Don’t you feel they are staring at you? “How about you, little buddy, what have you been up to?”

I guess it is true that we don’t see things as they are. But only as we are.

This walking man could have been me at the time (well, the masculine and faaar older version of me!). Pressure to achieve something tangible (the soonest the best) so I could be proud of my answer to the half god bystanders.

Then I zoomed out to look at the whole frame.

The white dancer made me smile. The Lightness of Being contrasting with everything around and under him, whispering “When you try to control everything, you enjoy nothing. Sometimes you just need to relax, breath, let go and live in the moment“.

It is usually when we need it most that we “forget” to look up and breath. Here is another Parisian reminder that anywhere you are, even in the jungle of the city, we must find time to look up :

Heart-opening poses like Cobra take an emotional weight off the mind, elevating your mood and helping to reduce anxiety and stress.

How about you? How do you feel when you are looking up? Namaste 😉

Same here, especially when it really enhances its surrounding. It feels like we are walking in a museum, among beautiful paintings .. Thanks for your comment that led me to your great post on Being Creative 🙂 perfect combo!

What really stroke me here is the composition, as you said. It is not just one painting and another one here by chance. Or maybe it’s my imagination ? 😉 After all, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder too .. Have a lovely day!

I feel so much better when I look up. Because it’s then you really see… how’s the ring feeling 😉 Used to it yet?

Funny that you are asking about the ring, I have been so engrossed into this yoga teacher training that I gave a pause to the preparations.. I can’t even wear it on the mat, so basically I am only wearing it when I am off (not so often). But this morning I felt like giving me a break of yoga, and I went for a manicure just for the ring 🙂 And guess who is now browsing at new potential places, crossing and adding on the list of the wedding guests and shortlisting the selection of wedding dresses ?… XXX
